The programs will be funded through a $1.4 billion Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The Single-Family Housing Program closes on December 31, 2025. Eligible homeowners in western North Carolina impacted by Hurricane Helene are encouraged to learn more and apply.
